I was just thinking about Mr. Yates passing and thought, isn’t Jeremy Clarkson kinda UK’s Brock? Not exactly the same clearly - but kinda along the same lines.

Oh come on. Bowie, Abe Vigoda, Prince, Harper Lee, Glen Frey, Guy Hamilton, Burt Kwouk, the GOAT, Gordie Howe, David Huddleston, Gene Wilder, Bryan Clauson, and now Brock Yates? Please don’t let Chuck Yeager be next.

godspeed brock.

(however, as a dr and a scientist, i have to point out that one rarely dies “of alzheimer’s disease.” the disease is an insidiously slow and progressive condition affecting central nervous system function. yet it is typically infection, such as pneumonia, that leads to the ultimate demise. new reporting systems do attribute progressive neurologic conditions such as ad a primary cause of death, and while their presence is certainly an overwhelming contributor to death, it is not these diseases per se that are the immediate cause of loss of life.)
